　　报告人简介：PavleV. Radovanovic，加拿大滑铁卢大学，副教授，加拿大纳米研究方向的ResearchChair。Pavle教授主要从事掺杂低维纳米结构的电学、磁学及光学性质，复杂纳米结构的稳定性和相变以及节能固态照明等方面的研究。已经在包括Journal of the American Chemical Society, NanoLetters, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano等期刊上发表论文40篇。

　　报告摘要：This talk will feature selected examples from our recent work on the growth, and spectroscopic and magnetic properties of complex transparent semiconductor nanostructures (nanocrystalsand nanowires). Professor Pavlewill discuss his studies of pure and transition metal-doped III-V nanowiresand transparent conducting oxide nanocrystals, and the effect of various parameters on magnetic exchange interactions in this class of materials. The application of these nanostructures as building blocks for photonic, spintronic, and quantum information technologies will also be discussed.
