Boc-D-Arg(Tos)-OH is an analytical grade building block for the synthesis of D-amino acids. It is used as a reagent for the synthesis of Boc-protected D-amino acids and as a precursor to other amino acid derivatives. The chemical name is N-2,6-diaminopimeloylglycine ethyl ester hydrochloride. Boc-D-Arg(Tos)-OH is soluble in ethyl acetate and methanol, but not in water or ethanol. This product can be used to synthesize peptides with desired properties.
